Hi, I'm Daniel Morales, and I'm going to tell you a little bit of my story.
I got started in programming because I couldn't find a technical co-founder, willing to risk following an idea, so I decided to learn on my own at least the basics to build an MVP.
When I was able to build an e-commerce without a technical co-founder, I felt I had super powers, and I could build anything I wanted.
The e-commerce I built in PHP (without any framework) sold almost half a million dollars a year, I had a team of almost 30 people, and raised $350,000 of investment (in Colombia), but finally failed due to my lack of experience in different ways: business and technical (I don't blame anyone for my failure). That was between 2013 and 2016 and it was the best professional experience of my life (for now!)
I graduated from a business school, but found an incredible passion for programming and data. I started programming with PHP, now I work on a daily basis with Ruby (web) and Python (data science).
